Thanks for the info on the screw drive motor. I hadn't taken the time to do the math. I'm going to start in on the design work tommorow after I've shovelled all the snow.

Thanks for the link thats a nice setup for the steering.How do you have it hooked to the articulation joint? I took a quick look at it when we were visiting but am not sure of the connection.

I think I've figured out a simple system for mechanical cylinders for the box dump mechanism. It will do away with the scissor lift but I'm not sure how it will look on the truck until I make a prototype. Boy I wish I could get all my parts and pieces faxed to me instead of having to wait for shipping

Lou, that looks very clean and is an excellent idea! I'm curious where the large gear came from. If you can't have hydraulic steering, this looks like the next best thing, for sure!
