The greatest advantage is big power in a much smaller package! These blue mini brushless motors, they're built to Fumotec's own specifications, I don't know the company doing it; the motor spins @ just over 10 000rpm, big planetary gearhead for just the right output rpm.... you literally can't stall them out!
![]() My B4206 has red color brushless that are a little bigger than the blue ones (what Frank started with before getting the blue motors made), I had to do some filing on the ends of the outrunner bell housing to get them to fit within the axle. They are a little bit faster than the blue, which I like, but the blue motors fit with plenty of room in the dump trk axles. The wheel loader has a narrower axle, didn't measure, but probably 20 some mm

thanks for the reply Joe, do you know the diameter of the brushless motor fumotec? Since I posted this I've have had one arrive from hobbyking, it's a 2830 1000kv so at 12volt it's spinning at around 12000rpm, only problem I really encountered when doing this was the pinion, any idea where I can get a 3.17mm pinion for the mfa planetary box?
