Default Re: Half round end dump trailer

Just out of curiosity how long are they. When I first saw these 1/14 truck i always thought they were small until i finally saw one in person. I know the Grand Hauler takes up the size of my dresser. So I wonder how long a truck n trailer combo would be. Especially since I've never seen a trailer now in person. Have to stop looking at this thread. Getting regrets for returning the 2nd Grand I bought for a daycab and dump trailer project I had planned.

The one in the picture is 28 1/2". The first one I built was on the same chassis but the tub was shorter with frame sticking out the front. The biggest I have built is Benny's tri-axle at 36" That maxes out my bender and slip roll so I can't build anything bigger than that without joining pieces together. The size of the last few seems to be the most practical to me but it doesn't really matter what I think only what I can build for the customer.
