I use plumbing parts from the bath and sink area on my first builds. but they were not that fat. I say search around - you may find something like a towel holder or similar with suitable parts for cheap until you can get custom stuff from 'snochaser later.

BTW - the new grand hauler has some nice fat stacks - no bend at the top just straight. but they are larger, and full length chrome tube as well..

Look at the rest of your kit Izzy the stacks do have turn outs.
