The tequila tanker is done! .....well, at least the lights and motorized legs are. The actual fluid hauling part will have to wait till a future winter build.
![]() ![]() I'm real happy with results. I wanted to keep it simple and subtle. No room for light bezels along the top so just went with small holes just large enough for the LED tip. 6/64 drill bit and the lighting is just right. When lights off you can barely even see the holes so, I like. Using a chunk of Coroplast I came up with a nice material to make a mounting plate for the SS Tronix gear. Slides in and out like a tray and also incorparated a way to secure the battery. Using a 3,000ma nimh battery is overkill but at least this way I should be good for the entire summer and it adds weight on the drives. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also added some back up lights and end markers on the stock bumper ![]() It's hard to take pics of this shiny tank but like I say, it's hard to see the holes when not lit up. ![]() |
