this my barebones d11 and what it looks like inside
![]() ![]() there excavator is the same thing no drive motors no turntable motor or hydros this is my china kat at the time I could not buy the empty machine so I had to get all the cheap Chinese parts. all gutted and replaced with rc4wd,jung and morepower parts and still tuning it ![]() ![]() ![]() now rc4wd has there 4200 listed for $1799.00 I would jump on that before messing with all of this |

Now that is what my work area looks like. Have trouble finding what you set down? LOL That dozer is so cool.
Interesting that with the reduced price on the ver 1.5 1400XL that you say buy. I have seen a few things that concern me about that, but I guess this is an entry point and I should expect to replace the drive units with the upgrade one of the members here does for the drive units. What else is sub-par and need better components to perpetually please me? Additionally, an excavator does not 'drive' around all over the place, usually just moves a little from one area to another....and if movement occurs with digging, just go perpendicular to the tracks to get around that. So not so sure how important that is to me in the beginning. I actually plan on a very long term project of terracing my back yard hill which is about a 45-60 degree hillside. I figure 5 or 6 years to do this. LOL More feedback please. |
