Use 1.5mm thinkness (sometimes 1.78) for the piston and rod seals, 2 off at each location. To seal between the front piece that contains the rod seals, and the cylinder pipe I use also 1.5mm (x1) when enough space. sometimes need to use 1mm here if thigh space. The 1mm seals are more vulnerable for damage when putting the cylinder pieces together, so a more thick seal is better. One need to study the tables for seal groove clearances to get the correct size grooves etc. If one got a 8mm rod, one should not use a o-ring that is exact 8mm inside diameter, but better 7 or 7.5mm max to get a good fit.
