Default Re: D8R +463 in 1/5,6

As Greg already said, it´s a 1/8 scale, all models in this section was same scale. The 1/14 had seperate section.

You should try visiting one of the Fasination shows, have only been at one but are already planning going back this year. Think there was around 40000 visitors during 4 days open. And you can bring wife with, there´s a lot to be seen around Fredrichshafen, close to the alps, Boden see and some very nice senery.

yes, the exhaust will be coming thru stack, will build a muffler adapted to available space, probably built quite heave to absorb some noice, will test with different solutions to get a sound as proto as possible, remember that engine is a 4-cycle and will never run higher than 3000rpm (max torque). Stack has a movable cap, hope that it can flapping like original one.

Now to pics:
This Freightliner had a RC Subaro coming out of trailer when loading platform was lowered

Next on model will be during weekend when I got opertunity to take photos and messurments of interior of a 1:1 D8R. Hope this will be last trip for documentation. New parts for ripper attachment incl scraper drawbar will be welded to.
