CAREFULLY think through EVERY step. I did a plastic Bruder D5 conversion. I THOUGHT everything would work alright. It functioned, but was a crappy design. The model was so chopped/hacked up from the original design, I had to throw it away. I bought a second model, & converted it. This time around I put a lot more thought into it, & more carefully measured things, BEFORE I made any cut/holes in the model. Once I FINALLY get my batteries from China (LONG story there) I will have it completed.

I enjoy doing diecast conversions, if you have any specific question, i don't mind helping. I love to see what others can with these diecast. Take Skeeter's advice first, think everything thru as much as possible.
