Love my DX18... it'll be the last radio I ever buy... shop ebay for AR8000 & AR9020 rx's for a fractional price of any hobbyshop.

Jim, Look for a battery upgrade for the Spektrums. I put a LiPo in one of mine and doubled the battery life. It was a plug and play. Used the same charger that came with the radio. Radio did all of the switching itself. If you are just going to run trucks with some added features try a DX9. You only need 4 channels for an MFU. This would give you 5 more channels to play with. The park flyer radios are not the same as the higher end radios. I think that they use better batteries in the more expensive radio systems.
