Thanks for reply, I asked because the lighting in your photo made the hubs look alot like some rims I tried 3d printing some time ago. Was going to ask you how much effort it was to smooth them out as much as it appeared you had. I really like your idea though of mixing the hub portion of a standard wheel with the machined pvc. I think I'm going to try that just using 3D printed hubs. If nothing else will save a lot of support material and make cleanup much easier.

Short update of the fix for the broken trailer axle.
I've got some time to make the sleeve for all trailer axles that use std.axle. From now on i go full metal axles. [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() The Tutorial of wide rims is still under production.........more time needed and a few tools too. |
