Love this build! Just a clarification about the center shaft and hook rollers. Center shaft does transmit propell power to lower works, but the house is also centered by the bushing around the shaft housing. Hook rollers control the tilting of the house on the ring, so clearance is needed between rollers and ring path. Roller clearance allows front rollers to contact on bottom flange and rear rollers on top flange, when lifting. If they are adjusted in too far, lack of clearance will prevent rollers from turning during house rotation.

So the rollers need enough clearance to roll but not to tight not to loose . Hmmmm

Yes. When we adjusted hook rollers, we'd lay the boom straight out (sometimes with weight on it) to tilt house forward, then measure clearance at top of front rollers and at bottom of rear rollers. Since rollers are tapered, adding or removing shaft shims would push them toward or let them pull away from the center shaft, altering the clearance between roller and circle flange.

Oops! My bad. I guess I've been away from it too long. Looking at my drawings I see I made provision for a center bearing.

Yes I have seen these , but I’m looking for more dimensions. And I thought Jared had a personal drawing of the turntable . Reading these engineer drawing is not for the faint of heart . Thanks Mike

Usually I enlarge or reduce these drawings to fit my use. The design is pretty much the same throughout the line of these machines.
I may be able to dig a little deeper in my books and find more on those rollers.

I took this drawing and used the measurements at the top and did some quick scaling to get the dimension for the swing ring. It should be accurate if the drawing is to scale, all you have to do is use a scale calculator to get the dimension for your model. I'm modeling to 1/14 scale, so 55 3/8" in 1/14 scale is 3.96"

I hope this helps you.

Thanks for this it does help . I was using my guesstimated size of 4 inches , so that was close to 3.96.
