Any suggestions for stripping the chrome off the rear mudflap brackets?

Yes. I use this product as it comes, don't dilute it, just use it concentrated, The plastic/PVC parts can stay for weeks, no worries of harm to them. Overnight soaking should be enough for most parts, longer if needed. The more times you soak parts, the weaker the bleach gets. All you need to do after the soak is rinse the pieces thoroughly and wet sand with 400-1000 grit for the paint to hold too. [IMG] ![]() P.S. I dechrome almost all parts. Not a fan of chromed parts on a work truck |
