Funny you should mention "bursting into flame's". I encountered that problem over to a friend's shop, just before locking up one night. Kinda spooky to think the dang battery could of burned the shop down! Later, Neil#2 aka doodlebug.

I've read stories of peoples houses burning down... Lipo's are good batteries, but really need a lot of care and attention. Never let them charge with constant observation...

The other big problem with running them in our type models, is you must never let the cell run completley down, that also ruins them... better and safer to run Nimh...
