Freddy got me to using the axial crawler trans as a transfer case and it takes care of two problems at once. One it gives you a transfer case and two it has 3:1 gear reduction as well. Here are some pics of one attached to an RC4WD R2.
   Hear is one attached to a tamiya three speed.   Travis

Travis.
I looked at this and liked it. As you said 3:1 reduction too. looks great but could not nail down a part number do you know of a link. also liked that R2 trany it seems to get good reviews but not sure of ratios. Thanks for the help.
