Beautiful model, but a little beyond what I could afford right now. That bucket is huge. It looks like three scoops would have the Bell dumper full. I guess I better stick to wanting a Vario excavator, which is also a lot of money, but a good deal, by comparison.

You can actually find a used 1:1 excavator for that price.

In fairness... you can find a lot of 1:1 vehicles/plant equipment for the money we have invested in the hobby!

Here is the build thread for it... its a well made machine, I bet the asking price divided by the hours spent making it wouldn't equate to an average wage... that said, it isn't cheap!
