Default Re: Who's got an AR-15?

I have a DPMS in 204 ruger. Love it. AR's are great for the flexability of upgrading. Mine already got a fatter grip and a Giselle 2 stage match trigger (huge improvement over standard 1 stage milspec trigger).

Looking at building a few different caliber uppers now and then down the road build lowers to complete the individual guns. For time being though can just swap upper end with the 2 takedown pins and have a diff gun.

Oh and keep in mind if you only like the R15 for the camo, you can get several "film dip" shops throughout the country to put camo of your choice on any gun.

I've heard some pretty bad things about the newer Remingtons, I'm not sure if it spreads to their AR line, but I know that they've been having some quality control issues on the 870 and 700. I've heard the same with Bushmaster, since they were bought by the same company.

I've got a mid 90s Bushmaster XM15 that my father gave to me, and it works like a top, at 50 yards on irons, it'll bury bullets through the same hole in the target.
