Never seen a model boat built entirely from scratch. do you have any videos of it in action?

The only video that I have of it running is to high of quality for my old computer so I have no way to edit and post it. I will take some video with my cell phone soon and post it up. The boat is slow(which it should be) so there isn't much to see though!

Just now found this. It looks great! Just need to throw out the flopperstoppers and hit the open water. If I didn't know you were from BC already I would have guessed it was a Canadian boat. I had a '47 vintage 43' for a year that came down from BC. The Canucks know a thing or two about boatbuilding. I've wanted to build a troller and drag flies and spinners around the local trout pond but I think the authorities take a dim view of it.

Very nice, sitting on the water it looks like the real deal, first time I've ever seen an alum scale boat, looks like you nailed it.

Hey Guys, Thanks for the complements on the boat! My Grandfather built and repaired commercial fishboats most of his life so I guess it's in my blood too, unfortunately no one builds new larger boats here anymore because there's no need for it anymore.

Jared, I actually could (and have) thrown out the "flopperstoppers" cause it does have them! It took a bit of fiddling to get them to work right at full speed though. I haven't used it to tow a lure yet because I'm affraid that I might actually catch something and roll it over!
