Yep, that was the first to be fitted, but I removed it straight away. I didn't like how the filters in the esc remove the direct drive. It was fine on the flat ground, but whenever I was offroad I didn't like it. But to be fair I came from a scale crawling background and prefer the direct response from a rock crawling esc. I guess its just personal preference.

It could be that the 966 is geared down so much in 1st (so they don't blow the motor) that it is very sensitive to voltage changes, where as the Bell is using the torque of the motors rather than rpm. Just a thought, any idea if the top speeds are comparable between the two (in any of the three wedico gears)? Cheers, AP |
