Steve it is dead it melted the area were the brush is..I have had it for 2 years and it gets used everyday for work so it is time for it to go..

Thanks much Chris and yeah i have no prob with that I just used the idea off the 2 picks of the brown toters above that is how they are mounted on them. You cant see it in the pick but I have 2 1/4 pieces of brass soildered on the back and then the screw for the windshield screws into it.

I got most of the Jack made tonight for the back of the truck.. It will be able to lift around 4 inches or better high. It is built out of alum and then has a derlin shim on the inside so it slides freely up and down. I will have a spring pulling down and use a winch hid under the be to pull up one the sled the hitch is hooked too. So here is what i have..

I agree with Freddy but I forsee a problem. You might want to make the moveable hitch piece out of delrin instead of just a shim. Any type of pressure on it with metal to metal contact will cause it to bind.
Oh ya, where is the side to side movement mechanism? Ones I looked at had this plus in and out controls.
