Stock Tamiya tanks are about 1.5" diameter. Wedico tanks are closer to 1.75" diameter, which I think looks to big, for a Wedico. I'm going to go with 1.5" on my Wedico, and it looks great. The reason Wedico went larger, was so that they could fit an ESC inside the tank, freeing up room for a full cab interior. Something to consider. It's a nice place to hide a receiver, ESC, servo, and other electronic components. If a truck is going to have a tank, you might as well use it for holding something, if possible.
