Lynn is it the aluminum or the plastic transmission? If it is the aluminum just unbolt the combo box and eliminate it, I have no experience with the plastic version. I believe you will need a different pinion gear, I'm pretty sure I have one or two I could give you.
Is your combination box the 1:1 or the 3:1 ratio?

Mine has the plastic tranny in it. So I guess I am own my own. Thanks for the info. Not sure about the gear ratio in the gearbox???? Truck came with a 1993 Wedico catalog. Boy, do I wish the prices were still the same
