Yes , many guys have done it. It's a cat replica made by norshcot . I know I spelled it wrong. LOL. Some guys on here even hollow out the motor to fit the electric motor inside and make it look like the tamiya trans is bolted to the cat motor. Some of the other guys here can probably provide some pics or links to help.

Yes that's what I'm thinking about to hollow out the engine to hide the electric motor...my only concern would be if that would make the electric motor run hotter. I guess I could always attach some kind of heat sink to it.
