White wolf, the perf steel is 18 ga and I don't have any problems bending or cutting it. Cutting it is a breeze being it has relief holes in straight lines. Anything thinner would be difficult to weld with my mig. Thanks for the suggestion tho.

Rctech, and RCP- thanks fellas. Havin a blast seeing it start to resemble what I hoped. I printed another grill with smaller horizontal bars which looks more scale and did the same to the drivers seat....

You have done an excellent job of reproducing the model. I am the one who originally bought and assembled the model an it was much more work than what you have done putting it together and taking it apart and re assembling it again many times. The instructions are in German and the pictures are that detailed enough to use for putting it to gether. Keep up the great work it looks very nice. Ed
