I know I should use my machines more, but I guess I like more of the building process.

And about those details, they really are fragile, made of 2mm brass rod they bend quite easy
The carrying it is the most dangerous moment for the details, it's so heavy you have to keep it close to your body and everything that sticks out might get damaged

I think I would enjoy playing with my models if someone else was around to join in the fun. I don't really live near anybody that's into this so it's always just me by myself and I get bored really quickly. When I'm in the shop though I want to be left alone so that I can concentrate! My Volvo fits in the trunk of my car but you have to tip it over quite a bit to get it through the opening. If it had detail like yours it would most certainly get wrecked. I have too many big models to move now though so I guess I will be using the pickup truck from now on. Lots of room there but wide open to the elements and burns fuel like it's going out of style!
