Well now that I know it isn't just my ears that think it sounds like a Jimmy I'll share what it is...

It's actually a twist grip engine noise maker thing that my parents bought for me to have on my first bicycle back in the late 70's. I started looking at it a month ago but couldn't figure out how to fit it in anywhere without cutting it. I was worried that if I modified it too much the sound would change loosing it's "Detroitness" but yesterday I felt that I should give it a go. I had to chop and hack quite a bit off of it so I was a little nervous but I think it sounds great! Of course there aren't any fancy air brake sounds or horns but I didn't have to spend an extra dime on it so I'm happy. I used and old gear motor to spin it, made up a simple adapter hub, and drove it off the spare channel on the Sabertooth ESC.

Thanks for looking!
