Talking New IH 9670 Quick Over Haul.

Well I am waiting for some paint to dry on the 1850L before I can move one so onto a little project. Ok so I go this truck for another member over on RCC last week. I got the Glob Liner with full bearings and other parts and I got the Tamiya Flat Bed also with full bearings. Now I really liked the color and the rough old school look so it just went threw a one night little over haul.

Ok so here is what I put on it..

King Hauler Frame Rails
Full Deck Plate
Shortened Front Bumper Mount
PMD Texas Blank
My 7 inch Style Stacks
RC4WD Haulers on Rear
Added Visor and Black Pin Stripe
55 Turn and 6 Tooth Pinon
Castle Sidewinder ESC "For Now" MFU to Come

Ill be getting Alcoa wheels from Steve and new fuel tanks down the road here. Also I still have to make a new drive shaft Ill to that tomorrow and I and going to make air cleaner stacks too..but here are the before and afters.

Before

After

Amazing what a little paint and a few new parts make! Really like the new longer look also. Almost looks like a totally different truck.

Hey thanks much for the great comments guys on the truck.. Oh yeah Cory dream on buddy..Plus your wife would not let you have that much anyways..

Ok so in the little time I had today when I was home or not working on the 1850L van truck I got a few more things done. I made for Alum quarter fenders and painted them up also I painted the deck plate. Also made up a set of dual air cleaner top hats for the truck and mounted the light plate. And before I go to bed tonight I am going to put new long black mud flaps with weights on them..

So here you go..

I like the new fenders. Are the stacks 3/8" or 1/2"? The Globes should come with King rails in the box.

Hi Paul. The Globe looks great. Nice little touches to give it a new look. I'm digging those air intake snorkles. Nice touch. Pretty surprising how a little black pin stripe can change the way the old paint job looked, without a complete re-spray.

A TX square, a little WB, some big stacks, and a little pinstripe between the 2 tone, and BAM.... instant LargeCar. Awesome once over on this truck Paul. Gotta love the GL's

Yeah it is funny how a little goes a long way you are right that black added so much to the paint job..

Thanks much Rick.. I had a good time updating it this weekend. Also I got to drive it yesterday and it really pulls nice and looks great with the cattle trailer behind it..

The stretch and stacks look great. It looks especially nice in front of the livestock trailer. I've driven this truck and I have always liked the paint job but thought it was a little flat. The black pinstripe you added really gives it wow. Nice job.

Here's another before in front of my flatbed.
