I have the brass gears in my Pete - sticking with stock gears in this build. A little un fair but I'm on a budget.

I received the shipment I was waiting on - a donor hood to help get the "curves" right ... I laid in some faint lines on where I plan to cut ..... and some replacement pics of the truck - new camera!

Update!

Did some cutting - and then started pasting .... working on bridging the gap in the cuts down the center of the hood now.

That looks like it is going to be another sick build. I can't wait to see it when it is done my friend drives one of those and it looks like you are nailing the **** out of it. Great job.

I wouldn't throw it away just yet Chris. What's keeping the hood raised from the body? If I know you from your other builds, I'll bet you'll figure it out. Just don't give up buddy.

Dude I'm having the same thoughts with my cat ct 660 build as I too started with an aeromax and quickly found out all I could use was the top of the hood, but it's getting there..... So u keep at it and I'm sure u will get it on the money!
