			Hi...

After 2 years I decided to start a make over for my Black Devil. He will get my developed driving board to simulate a realistic driving. This will be explained in a later posting. May actions for the last days was a rebuild of a sun shield. My first plan was replace one part, but it was a total disaster. ![]() ![]() So I decided to design a complete new sun shield. I started with the side parts. My goal is to keep it clean, no screws so it had to be fastened from the inside. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Now the sun shield. ![]() ![]() Now I have side parts and a sun shield. Th challenge now is to solder the shield keeping the correct position but without damaging the cab. So I built a support to be able to solder with a flame stress-free to the side parts. ![]() ![]() ![]() The support gave me the possibility to work with wet papers to keep already soldered parts together. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here you can see a brass staf, it shows me the middle of the sun shield. I mounted it to the truck and from my point of view the job is done. Now it must be filled, sanded and painted. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() That's it...
