Yes I definitely primed everything with Rustoleum Self Etching primer. After doing some scratch tests on ABS, i found the Self Etch Primer held up the best. But Krylon primer Ive used many times before without any issue. I felt better about the Etching primer on this build being everything was going to see abrasion....But its a dozer, its not supposed to stay looking pretty for ever. If the paint wears off, im fine with that. I also topcoated everything with Rustoleum Satin Clearcoat. It helps for sure, and i like the way it takes the shine away. Ive always thought models look better on the dull side, seems to highlight detail.

Got my replacement motors today, so im redesigning the mounts to accommodate the larger motor cans. Tracks are painted and curing over night. hope to be testing the motors tomorrow. I hope these are stronger- 194.4 oz-in. @ (12VDC), we shall see..
