Default Transporting your trucks and trailers

How do you guys transport your trucks and trailers, like say to Indianapolis?
Just let them roll around loose in the car trunk? Wrap them in blankets?

I'd like to take mine to some meets, but don't want to tear them all up moving them back and forth!

I have a SUV so I just fold the back seats down and place the trucks on the floor. Sometimes I place towels between them so they cant rub if they slide over during the drive. I also place a towel in front and behind them so they dont roll when hitting the brakes or accelerating.

I remember a thread about making boxes out of thick pink insulation foam and duct tape. Of course I can't find that now... (still looking)

Found it! Different forum: http://www.scale4x4rc.org/forums/showthread.php?t=37757
Here's another thread about transporting: http://rctruckandconstruction.com/sh...ight=pink+foam
