			Hi guys please help,

I'm trying to convert a bruder Mack truck to rc for my step son, I've put a driven steering axle in and this is great but I have attached a poison motor to it and it goes to quick, I've tried to regulate the speed but to no avail I was thinking of converting a servo to 360 degree rotation to slow it down a lot but not sure would like some help on this please. Thank you

I had the same problem with my King Hauler. I ended up getting a 65T motor. More torque and lower speed.

			Hi rsd53,

Thank you for your reply. Did the 65t motor give a real scale speed, I think that's a better idea then converting a servo to 360 as that might be a little to slow |

If your tight on room try a planetary gear box attached to the motor will work as they are about 35mm long.........

			Cheers Tracy

			Hi,

Would changing the motor solve the problem or just add to it? Thank you

Yes it did. The truck was a lot more manageable after making the change. In first gear I can creep very slowly. I just checked eBay and saw motors up to 85T for $25. However don't rule out the planetary A n option. |

			Hi guys,

I'm even more confused now then when I started. Did you buy that complete as it is Mack daddy? Have brought some motors ( Carson poison) but that was far to quick without a gearbox, then brought another with a gearbox fitted and it's far to slow.. help!
