Thanks for all the comments. The John Deere log loader in in the video is Lou's, we were giving it a test run after his handy work converting it to a logging machine. It is working very well, the bigger logs that Lou was lifting were cardboard tubes that Lou added bark and end pieces to. They are pretty heavy, BUT not as heavy as if they were solid wood...
The photo's below is where I am at with the D8 build. I was surprised at the time that was involved in the building of the blade, not as quike as I would have guessed. ( lots of bends and angles ) I still have a few more hours to get the blade finished...
