tubing?

Hi, what are you guys using for hyd tubing on your scratch builds?
I purchased some from local truck parts dept. that is used for air line to shifters etc on the fuller trannies, it does bend with a little heat from a heat gun but then becomes very hard after cooling, I tried warming it in hot water, will then bend but retains bend after cooling.
