Hello, im a new driver...

Id like to say thanks to everyone, my name is Joe, and i'm from Minnesota.

Ive been keeping an eye on the forum for about 3 years now, just lurking around and seeing what the hobby is all about and what people are up to.

I just started my first job as a machinist out of school ( 2016 ) making parts for the industrial automation industry.

Ive just gotten into the hobby and im looking for advice, I just bought a Bruder conveyor belt and my plan is to build a brass frame for it and add a motor. Im also looking into buying a Magom HRC 330D excuvator for my first RC construction vehicle.

My other interests are building PC's and gaming, Model railroading in N scale, Im a long time member of the Minnesota Free-mo modelers N scale group.,woodworking, metal working, machining.

Welcome to the forum, Joe. Sounds like you have a lot skills/interests that fit with this group. Congratulations on the job! First jobs are always exciting, so have a good time and hopefully it will be an enjoyable time for you.

Will do, im getting the conveyor from amazon this week so i should have brass in a week or two... depends when i get to the hobby shop.
