Thank you for confirming I will definitely fit an inline fuse in that case, what amp fuse would you recommended?

Tried having a look for a 8v battery and can only find golf cart ones which seem expensive so would ideally like to use the car battery. Would a voltage reducer help in this case if there is such a thing?

I've reattached a photo of the specs of the battery but just in case it still doesn't work this is the specs of the battery I have:

Bosch S5 005
610A (EN)
63Ah 12V
