At the end of the build I decided to change the tower. The electric parts were moved into the cabin, so the boxes are no longer needed.
So I made some additional parts for the tower.

The paint job started. It was the first time I worked with an airbrush system.
   Then I covered the color with fluid masking tape    Next color  Removing the fluid masking tape    The roof    The mirrors

I don't know what the rack behind the cab does, but it looks great.
That is such a clean looking truck, all those custom details are awesome

That's what happened in the past.
During some tests without a trailer I found out that there's not enough weight on the rear axles. I do not have a trailer yet, so I searched for an alternative solution. So I started to build a heavy load platform.      Now the fifthwheel is blocked, so I do need a coupling

The rack holds additional technique for hydraulic pressure, additional air pressure and a huge fuel tank.

Beautiful work, one of the nicest looking trucks I've seen. Photographed outdoors with the proper background and I don't think you could tell it from the real truck. Thanks very much for sharing the build photos, great inspiration.

Wow, very good brass working skills. Thanks for the very detailed build pictures, its nice to see how you form the brass, by I think first scoring the brass, then bending?
