Yeah, pretty near identical. The 850 looks to be about 40" from back of counterweight to boom/stick pivot point.
Will you build your u/c from steel? The 850 is a bear to move around or carry by hand with its 80lbs gvw, but it stays put while it's digging. I have the pressure set to approx 25-26bar. |

The plan is to build as much stuff as I can out of alum because it's easier for me to make the pieces. The drawback is that it is much harder to weld, at least for me anyway.
My Cat is virtually all alum and it weighs 20lbs with a lead acid battery so my hope is that this will be around 40/50lbs when finished. Thanks for the info! |
