Tamiya trucks come with 3 speed transmissions , as well Wedico's ( optional ), plus most guys install gear-reductions to increase pulling power ... what you see there in that video is not a big task ... on flat surface you can do that with a stock Tamiya truck when you want to pull some weight on uneven terrain , now when you need more pulling power , gear-reductions ..... just ask around here on the board , there are several guys doing custom work for others

My lowboy trailer will handle this, I know because some preschool age children have rode it. I used my blue dual motor geared down wedico pete to pull them.

I had my 2 kids On my step deck with no problem I even puled me around on it (190#) worked good till I droped down to granny while moving

there went the pinion in the FWD rear Now that truck is set up to pull heavy equipment A 100# dozer was nothing for it

gear reduction andf standard motor will give you plenty of pulling power. my truck runs a sport tuned motor 2.5 reduction with a 17 or 19 tooth pinion, nice and slow in first with a bit of speed in second and third to keep up with other trucks with 3 trailers on.

No need for the dual motors. One will work fine, especially if you go with a 55t-65t motor and gear reduction unit. I pulled my two children with a stock motor, stock pinion and no reduction just to see if it would and it did. I wouldn't run it like that in stock form a lot, but with a gear reduction you really should not have a problem.
