Mercedes Actros 2558 6x2

I started a Mercedes build for about a month ago, that old SK from Tamiya is a little to old for my taste so i bought the Actros cab from RigidRC.

Started with the chassi, just a small euro version with 2.90m/9.5ft (1:1 scale) in wheelbase.





Got to have some parts.



Fenders and sideskirts is all in one piece made of styrene.









Light is very important, 455 LED's from LED-Switch.



This week the cab came in, it is better then i have expacted.







Biggest miss is this "frontplate" that is a bit straight.



Lover front,



that i cut some more holes in.



A little paint is nice.



Some aluminium parts was in the kit. Can't figure what the big "L-pieces" is for?

I also think its to the cab but i can't figure out where to put them, there isn't any obvious place for them i am really confused right now

Well i think i just make my own mount of the cab, probably much less head scratching

Worked on the rear today, not finished yet but soon it will be

Rear lights with 3 chambers in form of an arrow,



with a line between the arrows

Rear light panel prefitted, a bit messy due to some sloppy measurements

Lovin this build Actros, looking great already. That's a really mean looking cab, much more modern than the old Tamiya one.

This truck got it's own trailer now

Goldhofer STN-L3 with yelow chassi, red sides and loadingramps.









And a little load on it.

yeah im not familiar with that style truck but it looks labor intensive which will be nice to see it done. the trailer and load look awesome !
