I will take a wild guess.

From the looks of the tires and the fact that the rims have only 8 lugs holding them to the hubs, I would say it is going to be a bobcat type of loader. With those tires and anything larger, there would have to be more lugs nuts/bolts holding the rims to the hubs. Now you have my 2 cents worth. BTW I hate secrets...LOL |

Not sure what it's going to be yet, but nice machining job on the wheels/hubs. Where'd you get those motors if you don't mind me asking?

![]() I found this at my local scrap metal merchants, 5 meters of 50mm ally bar and a 2.5 meter piece of 20x60, I picked them up for 50€ ![]() ![]() Not sure what grade it is but it machines lovely, started roughing out the first motor mount: ![]() ![]() ![]() Motor is a good fit: ![]() Not bad for an old Colchester student lathe which incidentally before starting my first wheel for this project was the last lathe I used at school over 20 years ago! Hope to get more done over the weekend. Grüße Stu |

OK, Stu, I guess you're building a CAT 938G wheel loader. The clues given by the tires and articulated steering lead me to this conclusion.
