addition to my fleet
 as some of you might know from the thread in general discussion i purchased this truck from rod(stepside).i have a plan for this truck,nothing drastic at all .i told rod i was not going to change anything...well....here is the thing i am quite happy with this truck with the exception that it looks like a generic tamiya kinghauler.i would like to make it a name brand truck by making a few changes to the hood .not sure whether i want it to look like a kenworth or a peterbilt..i am leaning towards the pete 359 with the double round headlights.the color will stay the same for now until i figure out a design for a vehicle wrap for both the truck and the trailer i am planning to get

 this is the peterbilt look i am looking to do with this truck .the louvered grill is on the way to me from russ..can't wait

  this is what i am thinking about to do with this truck,make it a classic/antique car hauler using izzy's toy hauler trailer or possibly one of steves(inbuilder) step deck trailers when they become availible ,not sure yet but i got some time...have to save up my change first

 decided to go for the single square headlight peterbilt look instead of the common dual round headlights the light pods are almost ready .i don't see many if any of the single square pete look ,so this is what i am going to do

here is a small update .been working crazy hours as of late so no time to build however i decided to make aluminum visors for the headlights of my new addition

i think i am going to make some round visors for vegas my pete and see how they turn out..good thing my eyesight is ok and hands are steady .lol

Dwayne, Those headlights are awesome looking man great idea nobody has those on there trucks. I can't wait to see how this truck gets transformed. I have seen it at shows in the past when it was Rod's. Keep up the good work.

did a little more work today on the truck so i am giving everyone here a sneak peek at the hood so far..i will be adding an aluminum bug deflector,fender guards ,and a few other things.i just positioned the lights with sticky tape to make sure it is going in the right direction with the look i want ,so i will ask all of my fellow builders on the greatest forum ..
 keep in mind this is the old grill .i have one of russ's aluminum grills with the louvers for this truck

hey mario thanks for the christmas wishes .i am just looking at the time off..been basically living in my truck for the past month or so...its amazing the volume for christmas with us has gone up at least double or triple...we are getting hammered big time but soon it will be over..merry christmas and all the best to you and sue and your family ..hope you get some great goodies from santa claus
this year hey this is the first christmas for you 2 in your new home..added bonus..
