Tag Axles??

What is the maximum number of tag axles allowed under a dump truck now? I am starting to see some with 4 or 5 tag axles.

all depends on state bridge laws or road weight laws
a few guys here on LI have up to 3 tags with smaller tires
steer axle two tags then the two drive axles and one more tag at the rear

Lynn I see trucks in Ohio having 3 in front if the drives and 1 behind the drives

In West Michigan we see 1 in front of the drives or 1 in front and 1 behind the drives.

The ones I have been seeing are all in front of the drive axles. Makes for one long box!!!

I have seen some local guys with 2 and 3 in front of the drives. None split front and rear. 3 very uncommon though
