			Hi folks,

some weeks ago the 944 came in for a general service inspection. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() After some years of hard work he got new cyls, a new and larger hyd pump with a new tank and some improvement on the undercarriage. The electrics are gooing to be newly assembled. bye Ulrich Last edited by Ulrich; 01-13-2011 at 06:50 AM. |

Excellent - time for a service, at least you can have it up and running for the summer!

Slightly off topic... the wheel loader in the back ground, do you have any other info on it? Elliot

The cyls are from Martin Kampshoff, some parts as the tank are from me. The valves as always from Ulrich Meinhardt. The pump is a Jung 4xxx? (gotta look that up) The tubes are 4/2,7mm on the main cyls, 3/1,5mm on the secondary system and between pump/tank/valves it´s all 5/3mm. @Stuff: the sticker says "playsafe", so it kinda matches. If it´s not ready to play you can´t get hurt. lol. As I wrote there´s no time to finish the loader, as well as the 904, 954,... bye Ulrich |

Lots of projects on your workbench Ulrich, will you be ready for the springtime shows? How many shows do you attend in a yr? Do any landscaping in your backyard?

Who's the maker of your hyd parts? What size tubing are you using? What is the volume of your pump? And I see you making a new loader too.

Is the 944 a scratch build machine or did it start out as a kit ? Do Martin and Ulrich have company web sites ? Cheers greg |

			Good morning folks.

@darkrider: thanx. Still there´s always room or improvement as you can see. @greg: the excavator is completely scratch built, except the motors and electronics . The guys I mentioned are like friends of mine. The first hyd system almost eight years ago was made by Leimbach. That one I bought. The metalwork itself is "homemade".Ulrich doesn´t have a webpage, you can only reach him over dicussion boards. http://www.rc-baustelle.de Martin has one: http://www.modellbau-kampshoff.de.tl/ bye Ulrich Last edited by Ulrich; 01-14-2011 at 02:40 AM. |

Just found two more pics of the tilt-bucket. This one for example was milled out of brass. Still better looking bolts are missing.

![]() ![]() You can also see parts of the quicklink to attach buckets. bye Ulrich |

Hi Ulrich, if and when you get time to finish the wheel loader project, I'd be interested in seeing the progress, it would be useful. I'd love to have a go at building one.

			Thanks Elliot
