Smile Hi, from Tempe Arizona

I new to model trucks myself, but I have a couple friends who have been enthusiast for years and they finally got me to give it a try. I'm currently working on my first project.

I work as a designer creating everything from websites, catalogs and magazines to custom motorcycle and car composites. I have a background in mechanical engineering and have built several custom motorcycles (then raced them on the track). For motorcycles I've made just about everything including custom frames, custom electronics and turbocharged engines

So far I've found it challenging to try to build detailed items on such a small skill. I've been reading this board for the past couple weeks try to absorb the different skills and ideals out there, to see what's possible.

I'm currently working on my first project which is simply rebuilding an old truck...

Best regards,
Bill Johnson

Welcome Bill from a fellow valley dweller. You've found the best forum for this part of the hobby this side of the pond. The Germans have years on us but it's getting better.
