Holy crap that thing flew across a four lane high way and the center median in the air. And I wonder what the explosion was caused by. To me in the video it looked like he was pulling a flatbed but I watched on my phone....

That is crazy! It looks like he and his rig escaped the flames, though. That is going to be fun to explain...

The video was captured by the dashboard camera of another tractor-trailer.

The driver of the semi, 30-year-old Ryan Young, of Kentucky, swerved to avoid hitting another vehicle that drifted into his lane, causing the crash. The fire was caused by the impact of the crash, which tore off the truck's fuel tanks, according to police. Young's 7-year-old son was a passenger in the tractor-trailer at the time of the crash. He suffered only a few scratches while Young suffered minor head injuries |

i wonder if they found the moron that drifted in his lane and hold him fully accountable and responsible for everything

it is great that nobody got hurt real bad but i tell you they don't call us professional drivers for nothing, and fortunately some people are lucky that most of us know what we are doing keeping these 30-50ton and more monsters on the road.thanks for sharing this video..

Thank god him and his boy are ok, but next time I bet you fellas he don't swerve to miss the idiot that drifted in his lane and next time he just rolls over em. Some times stupid people just need to be taken out.

Watch real close - I think the axles of the trailer nearly broke off.

Up the embankment on a cloverleaf overpass and over a divided highway - clearing multiple lanes. What a ride! **** good driver too. I doubt the mother will let the son out of her sight for a few years. Izzy |

yea unfortunately thats the attitude i take since a gent in canada here going up one of our 400 series highway swerved to avoid 2 little sh(*&%^%$ racing one another because one of them lost control.the driver of the truck was hauling a fully loaded flour compartment 5 axle trailer and layed it in the ditch and killed himself for those 2 idiots

.i feel sorry for the widow.i told my wife already i will not put my truck in the ditch for an idiot that has made a stupid mistake.tuff crap for them ..maybe pay attention next time...thanks for letting me get that off my chest.i always say...if the police want to catch idiots or rule breakers on the road....ride in a truck for a day..the tickets would be endless
