Ok here goes .

Up here you will se my new build of the TATRA 8 x 8 truck. Will try to post as much as i can . Just be patient with time .

This is a kit I and so far one of the best you get. Personally I think it's even better than Scaleart. They have gone to the enth level of engineering .

Here is the pics of the wooden box it came it . The drive train and axles where completely prebuilt.I have attached some pics of them .

Here is the pic of the trannsmission pre assembled .its heavy and solid !! . there is a 2 speed gear box and diff lock option. The manual shows how to split and assemble it if you need to . every thing is precision machined to very high quality .

Here is the first of the assembly . The rails have mechanism on the inside for the diff lock.its controlled by the servo. I noticed there where some holes not drilled and tapped hence had to compete those steps.

I have just started to assembly the chassis and bits . You will see there is a diff lock activating mech on the inside of the rail

Just completed the chassis and the drive line completely mounted together . The engine is well crafted all out of Al and is preicision CNC manchined. The motor and 3 servos is neatly hidden inside. There are 3 serovs steering , 2 speed gear box and diff lock servo.
The steering arms have the lenghts stamped on them .The manual give you a indication how to do but its not very clear. Its imp to work it out or the steering will not work properly......

I was lucky to be able to visit TATRA Australia and have a look around in their work shop in Perth . Even got some pics of the demo diff . Look closely you will see the pics of the model drive line placed on the top . Its unreal how robust the real thing is built .Its unbreakable !!!!

Capo were selling them for $2600US themselves, Sure beats 4k AUD!

I would pay $2600 if I could find one for that, though with the shipping it would be over3 grand.

I know but that was the old price they have bumped the price.More ever you cant even get a reply from them. There are other guys who promise they can sell but i think you will lose your money as they accept only western union and bank transfer . If you get it at that price I am happy to pay $300 as finders fee per truck.Also the au dollar is weak and there is import duty + GST .

I doubt you will get it for that price . Shipping is $300 the best I could get .
