Those motors will work but the speed to toque ratio is very high. Reducing the voltage down to 7.4 will cut the speed but also will cut the torque rating too........ something around 150:1 would be...

Post up a pic....i suspect it has pressed-on wheel retainers and you will need to use vise grips to pull those off. Check behind decals for hidden screw as well too.

do you have a MFU or just a 4-channel rcvr? A 4 channel radio is not gonna have a 3-pos switch for shifting.

Ch 1=
ch 2=aileron/steering
ch 3=throttle/throttle
ch 4=

Rip out the existing wiring and install a 2-channel radio, using the existing motor for drive and installing a small servo for the steering (taking out that existing analog servo)

It sounds like the 4640 running on 27 or 49mHz.....those boards go bad, everything in there is analog. There arnt any contacts in the tractor and prolly not any in the radio either. Its all pots and...

drill bit is a 2.5mm (if you buy a package, u get the bit and tap together)
Make sure you measure 4 times before you drill ur holes and lay out your accessories before you drill any hole. Test fit...
