It happens just like you described. I have switched back to my 3spd with upgraded gears and will save my single speed tranny for another build. Thanks for the insight.

What kind of driving characteristics should I expect when driving a pmd 4:1 gru along with the stock 3 speed? The 3 speed ran fine until I installed the gru. I have one of those truck puller motors...

Turns out that one of my grub screws were not tightened enough. It works fine now but I am not happy with how the pmd 4:1 is working along with the stock 3 speed. It takes several tries to get it to...

Can anyone recommend an esc to control a tipper mechanism? I tried the recommendations of the guys, but I think I may have the wrong esc. I have an ACE esc-10 speed control. Thanks for the input.
