Well found out why the front axle was not smooth …. Half the screws were not tightened inside the differential case - see picture -… whoever did the pre-assembly wasn't with it … I guess I will take it all apart to check.

Well I can not fault them on the machining on the parts. Everything is beautifully finished and fits perfect. A lot of thought went into this.

Still, having loads of fun and that's what it is all about.

Not only was front axle loosely assembled, they didn't put the rubber band on the locking mechanism of the differential … No wonder the whole thing jammed up.



Ended up taking the whole assembly apart.

Balance: 5 cross threaded screws, and about 50% not tightened. The actual gear mechanisms were properly assembled.



The tool provided by them is perfect for removing and re-inserting the bearings.

Most difficult part in reassembling was the metal clamps that holds on the rubber boots.

The whole thing, from start to finish took me about 8 hours.
